Hello,

where dimm are installed?

You have to be sure that it is installed in CPU slot 1 and 2

try also to do this in the bios

  1. Configure Persistent Memory:

    • Scroll down to Persistent Memory.
    • Select Intel Persistent Memory.
    • Choose Regional Configuration.
    • Select Create Goal Configuration.
    • Set Persistent Memory Mode to 100% Persistent.
    • Save the configuration and exit.

Thanks

Hi,

Ike Rhee's post is a sharing on what is the resolution if you face the issue with an error after placing the NVDIMMs; https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/en-us/poweredge-r940/dcpmm_ug_pub/events-during-boot-time?guid=guid-8ed9212d-dc2d-4418-8dc9-b99c9961dc01&lang=en-us UEFI0375 Unable to apply the Persistent Memory (PM) region configuration of the NVDIMM in the memory slot <slot Number> and UEFI0351: The NVDIMMs on socket <socket Number> are installed in an unsupported (configuration) manner. Major Error code <major MRC error code> Minor Error code <minor MRC error code>. Data in the Persistent Memory (PM) region may not be accessible.

Hi,
I'm having a similar issue:

What am I doing wrong?
It seems like the memory isn't where it should be, but the documentation
https://www.dell.com/support/manuals/es-ar/poweredge-r640/per640_ism_pub/nvdimm-n-memory-module-installation-guidelines?guid=guid-d4d658c1-3081-4dc5-b443-04d2ed35fbac&lang=en-us
  says it's correct.
How can I fix this?

Thanks for your help!
