Poweredge R6715/7715 limited configurable memory config
I'd like to order several R7715 servers for virtualisation purposes.
Now I see 64GB and 96GB dimms in the configuration but there is no way to apply them. The error message I get is that I can only configure 24x32GB which is the worse memory setup I can think off in therms of being future proof.
The technical manual allows setup with 12x64GB or 96GB. Is there any way I can bypass this or when is this going to be solved?
The problem is already there for months and my Dell sales person cannot solve or give me an answer on this so I try my luck here ;-).

Hello,
Sounds like you are using the Sales tool. Sales would be best to ask about that tool.
You may have so contacted Sales directly and provided your criteria and they can supply you options and a quote?
I see the memory capacity you are referring to but I can't say why the Sales tool doesn't allow it.
