Nvidia Tesla V100 on PE 840

Hi all,
I have an issue installing a Nvidia Testla V100 on a PowerEdge R840: the gpu is non working and, in the dmesg got the message that says there isn't enough power supplyed for the device.
The gpu is powered connecting an bundled Y cable so i have connected only one way of it to one output cable on power supply of the server. Is this the right way?
Any suggestion?
many thanks in avance.

Hello,

Check you are using slot 2 or 6 for GPU.

The 'Y' part is for one power connector to each PSU. The single connector goes to the GPU.

When using systems with GPU, ensure that you install PSUs with 1100 W or higher, and set the PSU configuration to non-redundant mode

Ensure that high performance fans and GPU air shroud are installed.

PMem does not support GPU configurations

256 GB does not support GPU configuration.

Review other GPU card installation guidelines page 78

There should be a GPU Enablement Kit but I am unable to find the part number. You may need to contact Sales and inquire about that.
