New to me R930
Bought this as a learning experience. Bought a cheap but reputable unit online and have started working on it.
It's spec'd as what Id label as a bare bones system -less than.
It's configured with none of the hardware or cables to actually have it work. Its only hdd bays are 4 in the front with blanks installed. Im hoping to get support here as I go through this unit and not know even what I dont know.
Such as, any idea what the front grill is called? Mine only has an opening for 4 drive bays on the left side. The rest of the grill is solid.

Hi,
The front grill on your Dell PowerEdge R930 server is typically referred to as the "bezel." In your case, the bezel design includes an opening for four drive bays on the left side, while the rest is solid. Bezels can vary depending on the server's configuration and are often removable or replaceable based on the number of drive bays or aesthetic preferences
