Having Trouble getting the correct drivers needed.

I received an alert for degraded virtual disk performance. when checking the logs, I get this error message:The current driver version 6.600.21.08 (megaraid_sas) is older than the required driver version 6.803.21.00 (megaraid_sas) for a controller of model 0x1F38: Controller 0 (PERC H710 Mini)

The client has a PowerEdge R520 running Windows Server2012R2 Datacenter.

Any help is appreciated!

Regards,

Jeff

Hello,

As of the end of 2022 the 12th generation platforms, like the R520, reached the end of support life.

Updates are no longer being made.

Try running this older Server Update Utility (SUU), see if it provides the update you are looking for.

DELL EMC Server Update Utility, Windows 64 bit Format, v.19.01.00

https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=p003w&oscode=ws8r2&productcode=poweredge-r520

Installation instructions

1. Download the Full ISO file.

2. Use ISO mounting software and mount the downloaded iso image.

3. Double Click suulauncher.exe. Follow the wizard to check for update.
