OptiPlex 7070 Micro - not picking up input or recognising Jack Mic.
I'm using an old Bose QC15, plugged into front jack. Getting sound into headset, but mic not picking anything up.

You may want to reinstall the audio driver. When plug in a headphone or headset, there should be a popup asking you to select the audio device that just plugged in, and selecting the device size. That should allow the microphone to function properly.

Hi, I managed to get my computer to recognise the mic part of my Bose Headset, but volume in the test mode is very low ?

@Chino de Oro I have a 3630 does not recognice any input in front jack receptacle drivers updated at Dell output works. have delated, updated,restored drivers I have ordered a USB earplug/mic combo as solution
