Is the L460ebm-00 compatible with the Optiplex 7070 SFF?
I am planning on acquiring a DELL Optiplex 7070 SFF but I want to upgrade the PSU. I found the 092wnc (L460ebm-00) that seems to be both mechanically and electrically compatible with this system; but so far, no website lists it as explicitly compatible with SFF systems, only towers.
https://www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/optiplex-desktops/optiplex-proprietary-8-pin-and-6-pin-pinout/647f8f68f4ccf8a8de077d92
I checked the article above and this PSU is 12-volt-only and has a 6-pin motherboard connector as well as two 4-pin for the CPU, and the PSU mounting screws seem to be the same across both towers and SFF, but I want to be sure I won't damage the computer with the PSU or anything.
Thanks.

@COFASA,
Hi! As far as I can tell, the two power supplies are physically around the same size and it'll most likely fit in the case. As for the electronics, it should also match, as the connectors seem very, if not entirely similar and you'll just use one of the two CPU power connectors. Honestly, I'd get a larger sized model if you want more room for components like graphics cards as you're limited to only low profile / half height cards. That doesn't necessarily mean you need to spend more money, as you could get a slightly older model, unless of course, your typical usage is more CPU heavy, then I'd go with whatever is the best deal regardless of form factor. Make sure you're 110% confident that the PSU or other possible components will fit when you install them and that you can return it easily in case they don't. I'm not 100% sure that it's electronically compatible but I'm fairly confident but to make sure, check If the cables are very hot, as that could be a sign that it might not be safe. If you have any other questions, I'll be glad to answer!
Have a great day!
