Detected hardware unit hang e1000e
I'm running Fedora Server 42 on a Dell OptiPlex 5090 and get these "detected hardware unit hang" errors. When that happens I lose IP connectivity to the server.
This release works fine on another OptiPlex 5050. I then bought another one (7070) and the same error appeared there. Thinking it was a hardware issue I replaced the 7070 with the 5090 only the get the same error. So it should be fairly safe to assume it's not hardware related.
I'm on the latest BIOS (1.33).
Any idea what this could be

Found a solution here
https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/intel-nic-e1000e-hardware-unit-hang.106001/
to address what seems to be old hardware first released in 2012. Working fine so far

Hi
Dunno.
Looking at the specs may indicate what it doesn't hang on, then look for firmware or drivers to match the oddball stuff, or use a Live Version of linux mint and see if there are any in the firmware/driver setup.
