Dell OptiPlex 3010 DT - Lights 2 & 3 Illuminated and sometimes goes off

Optiplex 3010
Hello Dell Community,
I hope you are all doing well today. I have a query about my Dell OptiPlex 3010 DT, which has recently started displaying the diagnostic number LEDs, 2 & 3. I read the service manual for this computer and it means that the BIOS is corrupted but the computer hardware is still functioning normally. The weird thing is, sometimes those LEDs will stay on throughout the time I'm using the computer, either they won't show up at all or suddenly go away after the computer briefly goes to sleep and wakes itself up again. Could you please help me solve this and help me with advice regarding what I should do? Thank you.

First try replacing the size 2032 CMOS battery. Bad batteries affect BIOS and therefore PC operation. If it still throws an error code, we'll go from there.

@bradthetechnut I have changed the CR2032 battery with a new or one that is under 10 years old, probably about 1-2 years ago and I know that I haven’t had the current CR2032 battery for at least 10 years.

Usually they're good for 5 years. It doesn't hurt to test it.
Not sure if this helps, but here's what I found: A Reference Guide to the Dell OptiPlex Diagnostic Indicators

@bradthetechnut Excellent, thank you for the information. I really appreciate it. The manual I have for my OptiPlex 3010 shows different meanings for the Diagnostic LEDs and the link you shared is really helpful and useful to see probably the most recent meanings for those LED lights. 😊
