WIDI Problem with XPS 18 - Win 8.1
Hello,
long time ago I updated the XPS 18 to Win8.1. As it is written in the specs, I want to connect it via WIDI. But this is not possible, I cannot find it at the right side of theWindows screen. At the Dell´s drivers download page there is just a WIDI application for XPS 18 with Win 8.0.
Yesterday I installed the latest Windows Updates including new Intel Drivers, but it did not helped :-(
How can I get it run with Win 8.1??
Thanks for your help.
Cheers
TIM

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us. I appreciate your effort in trying to sort this on your own. I have looked up for the Windows 8.1 drivers for your XPS 18. And I see that there are 3 network driver versions available which you can update accordingly once you have checked in Device Manager & compare if these are the relevant drivers for your All in One. However, if there are issues regarding the driver update or further concerns please email me your service tag at sheethal_suvarna@dell.com and I will check it further.

This is still a problem, the WiDi no longer works on the XPS 18 after upgrading to Windows 8.1. Dell needs to get these driver updates out.
