Latiatude E5570 Windows 7 Enterprise x64: Wireless On / Off hotkey not working

Hallo,

I have a Latitude E5570 that I installed with Windows 7 Enterprise x64. The system has an Intel  Dual Band Wireless AC8260 card as well as an Intel Bluetooth adapter. I have installed the drivers for these network cards (I used drivers from the Intel website). The adapters are working.

My problem is that pressing FN+Print (the wireless hotkey) only enables and disables the Bluetooth adapter, but not the WiFi adapter. I have installed the latest version of the "Dell WLAN HotKey Driver".

Do I need to install any other software to make this work? If I reinstall the Dell factory install of Windows 7 Pro I am able to enable and disable the WiFi card using the hotkey.

Thanks for any help and suggestions,

Olaf

I was able to fix this by uninstalling v1.0.0.5 of the "Dell WLAN HotKey Driver" and installing the previous version v1.0.0.4.

Firstly, this whole guide will make a lot more sense when you learn what an IP address is, because that’s a button part of the procedure. The simplest way to illustrate an Internet protocol address is to look at it just as the residence address of your house. Every device on your computer network has its own Internet protocol address, much like every single home on your street does have it's address. See this link: http //192.168.l.254 for more instructions.
