Installed new router Netgear R6100 configured it now no wifi dell studio 1745

I bought a new router and configured it wirelessly thru my wifi. Everything was working fine. Got back on my laptop and nothing. I have checked bios, enabled thru device manager and reviewed the mobility but it is greyed out and won't let me turn it on. I have updated the drivers by connecting directly and still no wifi. I appreciate any help you and am willing to do everything possible to go back wireless. I also did a system restore before to no avail before I updated the driver. Thanks for any possible help.

I found this Dell Quickset driver download and it let me enable my wifi. Thanks for your advice if it happens again I'll do as you said.

Hello,

If you haven't resolved this problem I would suggest you try deleting all your network profiles on your system, reboot, then try to connect.   Assuming you have Windows 7 on your system check out this article / thread from Microsoft on how to delete network profiles.

Hopefully it's simply a matter of your profiles being corrupted and clearing them all may help get you back online.

Let me know if you've been able to resolve this problem or if you still need help.

Todd
