Inspiron 15R 5521 wireless not working on Win7 32 bit

Hi,

I recently bought Dell Inspiron 15R 5521, installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit and I have problems with finding the correct drivers to get the wireless working. Can you help ??

Aswell can you advise all other drivers I need to install ?

In your official download section there seems to be only 64 bit drivers.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Reinis

The drivers are here:

http://ftp.dell.com/published/Pages/inspiron-15r-5521.html

Most are 32 bit and 64 bit. There a few most notably the Intel graphics driver and Intel wireless card that are 64 bit only. The 32 bit versions of these can be found in the Intel download centre:

Hi ReinisRZ,

Dell has configured Inspiron 15R 5521 for only 64 bit operating system. However, private message me with the computer's service tag, Name registered during the system purchase, email address so that I can check the wireless card configured and check for a 32-bit driver. Hi ReinisRZ,

Please find the Windows 7 32 bit driver for the Video cards on your system.

If you are not able to install the Windows 7 driver then I would suggest you to Install the driver in compatibility mode.

Hi Pornsak248,

Inspiron 15R 5521 is offered with 64 bit operating system and accordingly the drivers are updated on our support website.

I am afraid, the 32 bit OS/ drivers are currently not available for this model.

However, you may try a few drivers for the Windows 7 32-Bit from this link: http://bit.ly/17HhOk7

After the operating system is installed, the drivers should be installed in correct order for proper functionality of the hardware components. Please use this link which shows the right order: http://dell.to/YHndJF

If you find the drivers for 32-Bit Windows 7 Operating system, please follow the correct order in installing the drivers.

Hope this help!

Dear i was also having the same problem and my laptop was in warranty i installed windows and drivers so many times tried to find the solution on forums also but did not solved my issue than i opened my laptop and and it was under warranty...Just open the screws near battery and under the battery than flip over and unlock the keyboard screws lift your keyboard up and you will find wireless network adapter under the keyboard. Here is the link to de- assemble your laptop http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4MVQR3d6jts
i was shocked to see that the cables were not connected with the card than i connected the cable and assembled my laptop and turned it on and i was surprised that my issue was solved and tell you one thing that i bought it brand new and was never opened before i do not know how DELL can be so careless about it..but thanks to god my issue was resolved try it by yourself too or took it to a repair shop if you don't have the tools and tell him to check the cables for wireless card ...hope that your issue will be resolved....
