Inspiron 1525. / Windows 8.1 Connectivity problem.
I have recently updated from Windows 8.0 to Windows 8.1 and soon after I am experiencing intermitant loss of connection to my wifi network.
My network card is a 4965 AGN.
I did not get this problem before I updated.
To get back on to the network I simply reset (turn off and on) the adaptor using either windows troubleshooter or simply the Airplane or Wifi On/Offsliders.
I have re-installed the drivers on the dell website, updated the drivers in Device Manager, downloaded all the "windows update" updates. None of it seems to solve the problem.
Can anyone help me with this.
If its the driver that is the issue is there a suitable driver I can get somewhere that is know to be stable with Windows 8.1?
Thanks :)

Alan,
Also Try these tweaks....
Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your network adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
Go to the power options, and changed the Wireless Adapter Setting, from Maximum Power Setting to Maximum Performance.

afcal72,
Intel says...
Intel® Centrino® Wi-Fi Products — Which operating systems are supported with Intel wireless products?
Your adapter is not supported. I would try the Vista drivers in the Vista SP2 Compatibility mode

Thank Rick. I downloaded V 14.3.0_v32 from the Intel site. So far so good. I'll give it a trial and post here if the problem comes back or not.
