Error installing Dell Wireless Driver on Inspiron M5010
I really need some help on this, I've spent hours trying to figure this out.
So I just recently formatted the hard drive on my Inspiron M5010 and reinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. After installing Windows, I began to install the drivers in the order recommended by the Dell Support website. I installed them in the following order:
R270086.exe | Hard-Drive (22 MB)
Chipset|
Release date 21 May 2010
|Last Updated 07 Jul 2012
R270085.exe | Hard-Drive (133 MB)

R257292.exe | Hard-Drive (5 MB)

R252544.exe | Hard-Drive (81 MB)

R258276.exe | Hard-Drive (80 MB)

R257296.exe | Hard-Drive (4 MB)

When I got to this one:
R287498.exe | Hard-Drive (79 MB)
Network|
Release date 19 Nov 2010
|Last Updated 03 Nov 2011

I received the following message:
Setup Error
No compatible hardware found. The software you are attempting to install is not supported on this system. The software will not be installed. Setup will now exit.
What do I do? I've scoured forums looking for solutions, but I've found nothing that helps. I even re-installed Windows again and re-installed the drivers, but to no avail. Can someone please help me?

Wrong variant of wireless card or wireless card is disabled with [Fn] and [F2] or just [F2].
To check the wireless card provide the hardware IDs see here:

You are awesome! I used the link you provided. Went into device manager, found out it was the Dell Wireless 1501 card through the hardware ID. Updated the driver through device manager. I have wifi now! You rock.
