Do I need to download all the Intel 7260, Dell 1601, and Dell 1506 network drivers available for my laptop?
I re-installed my OS and am trying to develop the correct order for the driver installation. I've gone down the list that Dell suggested, but am stuck at the network drivers. There are eight for me to download: Intel 7260 WiFi driver, Intel 7260 WiDi Utility, Intel Device Manager Diagnostics, Dell Wireless 1601 WiGig App, Dell Wireless 1506 WiFi driver, Dell Wireless 1601 WiFI + Bluetooth driver, Intel 7260 Bluetooth App, and the Ethernet Network drivers.
Do I really need all of them? I'm struggling to even understand which of the drivers listed for my system I actually need. I'm not an IT Pro!

No you don't the system has variants in wireless cards depending on region and time of purchase...
Provide the hardware IDs of the Network Controllers and I can identify what card you have, see the instructions here:

Here's the important one: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B1&SUBSYS_44708086. I think I found the correct driver on your website (Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 7260). Thank you, Philip.
One more question: Is this Dell article (ID #: 268873) accurate in terms of the order of the drivers I need to install? (http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?docid=268873) It doesn't even mention any BIOS upgrades.

Thank you, sir! One more thing that's bothering me is that my Dell Latitude E5540 doesn't have any Dell System Software applications listed for download. Is it necessary for me to have it? The FTP site lists a bunch of them under the utility directory, but I don't know which to download if I need to at all.
