Dell Wireless 1705 - plus another question Intel 5300
Does anyone know who makes the Dell Wireless 1705 card?
I have not been able to information about the card or if it is Atheros, Broadcomm, or other....
I ask because I got a laptop from the outlet with a failed wireless card and Dell has been VERY slow to replace it (Side note.... I can honestly say this has been my first BAD experience with their service and WOW.. has it been bad....)...
They have mentioned the replacement will be the Dell Wireless 1705.... So, anything anyone knows about it I am curious to find out....
Rather than wait out this process (diagnosed with tech support last Saturday, part not even shipped yet), I am pondering just ordering a Dell wireless 5300 card from Amazon and throwing that in there.
Any reason that would not work? I know I'd lose bluetooth, but would not really miss it.. I would gain MIMO and, based on reviews I've read, the Intel is a much better card....
Any comments or input?

In the meantime, the Dell replacement was done and I can confirm it IS Atheros.
I can't fairly compare it to the 1704 Broadcomm card it replaced, as it was defective, but my son and I both have the 1702 Atheros cards, and the 1705 is equally rock solid....
