Dell Inspiron N5110 Windows 10

Hi all,

I have a Dell Inspiron 15R N5110. Two months ago I upgraded from win 7 to win 10. Everything was working fine till the last win 10 update.

Particularly, my Dell blue-*** mouse only works when I pair it to the laptop so if I restart the laptop is not working even if is shown to be paired with the laptop. I reinstalled the bt drivers but I have the same problem again. I unchecked the option that the laptop can turn off blue-*** for saving power but still the same.

In the support page of Dell for that model is written the following:

Product not tested for Windows 10 upgrade

Dell is not testing or developing Windows 10 drivers for this product. If you choose to upgrade, some features, applications, and connected devices may not work as expected.

Do you have any idea how can I fix that problem?

Thanks

Hi Thanag7,

Changing the power settings is, unfortunately, the only "fix" that I know of offhand.  If that isn't working I'm not sure what else to suggest.  Someone else in the community may have some suggestions so I'm bumping this thread to see if others reply.

I don't think you're alone with this happening since the last update so hopefully it's something that Microsoft will be able to fix relatively soon.

Dear Todd,

Thank you very much for the time spending to reply. I think that is the only ''fix'' so far as you said. But I asked in case that can find something else.

Thanks,

Thanag7

I have recently upgraded from windows 7 to Windows 10. All features are running, except the WiFi.

if you open the adapter setting, you will see "red x symbol" on Wifi.

so after many of trying and searching, I found this problem on Lenovo community and solved by the Lenovo power management driver.

The Solution steps:

- check the updates for the Wifi driver. (just to make sure that everything is ok)

- download "Dell Power management driver". (this is the common solution)

- restart your device

- turn on the wifi and it will work.

Good luck
