Bluetooth not transmitting Signal
I have Dell Vostro 3446 Series laptop In which Bluetooth is not transmitting or receiving signal.I have installed all drivers still not working . Please Provide me help

Hi Vivek,
What operating system are you running on that system? Have you confirmed that bluetooth is enabled in both the operating system and in the system BIOS?
Here is our support article for bluetooth and connecting devices. If you can provide us a bit more information about your system, what happens when you try to connect a bluetooth device, what operating system, the bluetooth card (model and make) that is in it, and the current driver installed we'll see what else we can offer to try to resolve the problem. Also, to make it easier for me to help troubleshoot the problem please click on my Dell Todd username and send me a private message with the Dell Service Tag of your Vostro 3446. Please keep any troubleshooting questions or statement here in this thread so others can see what we do to resolve this problem, in case they also have the same issues.

My OS is Windows 8.1 64 bit , I have already enabled Bluetooth in OS. But i don't know how to enable Bluetooth in system Bios. Please help me to enable Blue tooth in system Bios.

Hello,
First, you need to go into your System Setup (BIOS). Once in BIOS go to the Advanced Tab, under Miscellaneous Devices you'll see and option for the internal bluetooth. If it is listed as Disabled then change it to Enabled, save, and exit.

Hello,
What, exactly, is happening when you attempt to pair up a bluetooth item with that system? We really need more information about what wireless card you're using, what exactly is happening, and what specific steps you've already taken to resolve this in order to suggest additional things to try.
If you are using the Dell DW1704 or DW1705 cards in that Vostro you may want to try running the Dell Wireless Diagnostic Utility to see if it finds any errors with the card.

I am using Dell vostro 3446 Laptop. My laptop does not show any nearby Bluetooth Devices.
I have done troubleshooting Such as
1. Reinstall Bluetooth Driver
2.Changed setting in both BIOS And Os
3.Checked In Registry Settings
Nothing is working. I checked My friend's Laptop with same model,in his laptop Bluetooth is working.But My Laptop is Not shoeing any Bluetooth Devies .

Hello,
Have you tried swapping bluetooth cards with your friend to see whether a replacement bluetooth card will work in your system?
Also, as I stated in my last post, have you tried running the Dell Wireless Utility Diagnostics on that card? And is the wireless portion of your card working correctly and you can connect to wireless networks?
Were you able to connect to bluetooth devices previously and now you cannot or have you never connected to them before? What devices have you tried pairing with?
Which model of bluetooth card do you have in the system? The Dell DW1704 or DW1705 with built in bluetooth or do you have a different card?
Is your bluetooth card listed in Device Manager under Network Adapters? If so, are there any symbols listed it next to it as a warning?
You may want to check out this article from Microsoft on troubleshooting bluetooth issues. If none of those resolve the issue you may want to consider replacing the card.

My Laptop is under Warranty , So Bluetooth Card swapping is not possible. I can able to access wireless Networks. I tried pairing with other devices but other Devices Can detect my Laptop, My laptop can't detect any devices. I never connected to any Bluetooth Devices with my Laptop

If other devices can detect your laptop then bluetooth is on and working, and is in "discoverable mode". You need to make sure those other devices are also "discoverable" for the laptop to be able to see them.
For some bluetooth devices that means holding down a button or selecting a specific setting. If you can give me one device you're trying to connect to I can try and pull up that manufacturer's web pages for it to find out how to make the pairing work. But I need to know the name, manufacturer and model to be able to search for it.
