S5248F temp thresholds

Hello everyone:

I am looking for the temperature thresholds of Dell S52xx switches with OS10 so I can set the warnings with my SNMP monitoring system.

In OS9 the command used to obtain this information was "show alarms threshold", however we have not been able to find any equivalent command in OS10.

Hi everyone:

I know it's been a while since the last post, but I wanted to let you know that we finally submitted a ticket to Dell Support and they gave us the command that allows us to view the thresholds of different switch sensors, including temperature sensors.

The command is as follows (it requires credentials to execute):

Switch# system “sudo ipmitool sensor”

The last three columns of the command output correspond to the "warning", "high", and "critical" thresholds.

I hope this information is useful to you.

Best regards

Hi, Could you try "show environment temperature" and "show environment temperature detail" commands

Hi @Dell-ErmanO

There is only the "show environment" command in OS10. This is the result of that command:

Hello redesSTI,

That is what Young was saying. There is no command in OS10 to show overall temp thresholds and that was from one of our backend engineers.

If you would like you can contact Support directly and an engineer can get a look with you, show them what you are looking for.

The forum is not set up for that type of direct engagement.
