SATYABRATA BASTIA,

That notification means that the current root bridge has changed. This normally happens when a new bridge with a higher priority value becomes the root bridge.

In your case, you mentioned that the root switch priority value is low compared to the noon root switch. This could be due to various reasons such as:

  1. Priority value configuration : The priority value of the current root bridge might be lower than the previous one. Make sure to check the priority values of both bridges to see if they are correctly configured.

  2. Topology changes : Changes in the network topology, such as the addition or removal of bridges, can affect the root bridge selection. If the network topology has changed, it's possible that the root bridge has changed accordingly.

  3. Bridge configuration : Ensure that the bridge configuration is correct, including the priority value, bridge ID, and other settings.

To troubleshoot this issue, you can try the following steps:

  1. Check the bridge configuration : Verify the priority values, bridge IDs, and other configurations of both bridges to ensure they are correct.

  2. Run a show command : Run a "show spanning-tree" or "show spanning-tree summary" command to get a summary of the current STP configuration and identify any issues.

  3. Monitor the logs : Continue monitoring the logs to see if there are any other errors or warnings related to the root bridge change.

Let me know if this helps.
