N1524 VOIP mode on interface Gi1/0/24 is disabled Control frames will not be proccessed
Hello,
Had to revert back an upgrade from 6.6.2.9 to 6.6.3.0 due to the following error started filling up my logs.
VOIP[hapiRxTask]: voip_control.c(181) 277 %% INFO VOIP mode on interface Gi1/0/24 is disabled.Control frames will not be processed
It´s referenced as fixed in 6.6.2.9 by FIELD-DNSE CS00010725088 in rel. notes.
Port is connected to an PCT6248P(3.3.18.1) port 1/g25 configured as an access port with LLDP-MED disabled
Port Gi1/0/24 is configgured as access port with LLDP-MED disabled.
command "no switchport voice detect auto" had no effect.
no debugging enabled.
Can anyone help me shed some light on this and avoid this beside setting logging level to warning?

It looks to be an info message that was incorrectly logged as an error which was then corrected in 6.6.2.9, but while it was an info message in 6.6.2.9. it has now been flagged as an error in 6.6.3.0. I do see the issue has been acknowledged, and it will likely be addressed in a future release.

Just to Clarify the error occurs only on 6.6.3.0 but not on 6.6.2.9?

Yes it started after upgrading to 6.6.3.0 and stops after downgrading again to 6.6.2.9.
