Auto Stack-Unit Configuration?

Hi, after I have changed the IP of my switches I have the problem that my stackunit (containing two S4810 force10 switches) are not both in management mode after a reboot. One is always in standby mode and I need to use ssh-peer-stack-unit command to fix it. Furthermore he asks me for login data, which was before not the case. How can I enable an auto-stack-unit configuration? I already tried "redundancy synchronize full", but this doesn't help. Thanks in advance.

Hi timejason,

So neither switch is in master mode? You may want to try to remove the stack and recreate it. Page 955 https://dell.to/3053Ai3

Hi,

so I found out that I've done everything correct. The stacking was fine and one switch was in master mode while we other one was in standby.

After I have plugged in some network cable into the standby switch I saw that on the master node it recognised it.

Anyway thanks for your answer.
