Windows Server version for Networker
currently Networker 19.4 on Windows Server 2016.
I would like to know if Networker 19.4 could be installed on Server 2019 or Server 2022.
Did somebody tried in place OS upgrade on server with Networker?
Thx.

Is this question about running NW client or NW server?
"Simple support matrix" is what the Dell elab navigator is for, so that one can see for each NW version what the supported OS versions are for, for the various NW related products like NW server, client, storage node, nmc and the various NW modules.
https://elabnavigator.dell.com/eln/modernHomeAutomatedTiles?page=NetWorker
and for nw19.4 specifically https://elabnavigator.dell.com/vault/pdf/NW_All_19_4.pdf
NW19.4 does not support running nw server or NW storage node on win 2022. It does for win 2019. You'd need a higher NW version to run NW server on win 2022, at least nw19.5. Win 2019 and 2022 are both supported to run nw19.4 client.
However asking if NW19.4 can be installed on more recent Windows servers, seems to also suggest you are not taking into account Dell security advisories, as NW19.4 would not really be a recommended version? Nw19.4 support is also going to end in Nov. 2023, so you might wanna prepare for a higher version.
We choose not to run NW server on Windows at all, but only on Linux. Even moving more and more towards using NW virtual edition appliance also (NW NVE), by migrating existing clients to it from the old NW server. Client OS is also never upgraded, nor are Linux based NW storage nodes as policy of admin teams is not to upgrade any Windows or Linux system to a higher major OS version (except service packs and regular updates and patches, but not from win 2016 to 2019 or higher or from Redhat 6.x to 7.x or higher), but rather deploy a new system with the required higher major OS version and reconfigure the new system to host the same applications and settings as before (which for the NW server would mean performing a DR).
Updating the OS might be a viable option, but not one we have seen or tested in any of our production environments. Might require re-install of NW software.

Barry, I really appreciate such a detailed answer. I am new in Networker team with very partial role (dealt with VEEAM).
Thanks again!
