Networker space requirements 8.2 to 9.0.1 upgrade

Greetings

I am planning on upgrading from 8.2 to 9.0.1 running on CentOS.  I am wondering If I can expect the Client file indexes, the media database or resource database to increase in size dramatically.  I understand the database type is switching from WISS database format to SQLite format.  To summarize, should I expect dramatic increase in size of client file indexes, the media database or resource database.

Thank you for your time.

I believe performance guide gives you some details on changes in respect to expected size.  Changes are there, but I would not say they are dramatic.

There will be no significant increases to the database sizes.

However, you should not forget that you would need at least twice the space for the media db - at least when you convert from the old WISS database (upto 8.2.2.x) to SQLite (since 8.2.3.0).

However, usually, the mdb is small compared to the client file index datasbases.
