How to Restore backup to network mapped drive (cifs share) using networker 8.1.3.4
We are currently moving data from our file server to our Netapp system.
Block and file based backup has been taken and the same are used for restoration
I have mapped the share location to the networker server and trying to restore, we are unable to see the network drive mapped at browse restore location, thus i have tried adding "\\share location\" and drive letter Z: to which I used for mapping, still failing.

Please ensure a CIFS / NFS share is updated in the 'device access information' field along with 'remote user' and 'password'

Hi Mkeil,
Thanks for your response. I was trying to restore a backup taken from windows (file) to a netapp CIFS share.
No the drive is not browse-able , thus i have tried adding the \\ shared folder location and tested.
NOTE: After checking with support, I was informed that there is not a way to directly restore data from networked to Network/CIFS share drive.

I don't get it. You are using restores to move data from your filer to a NetApp system?
Your NW server is running on Windows?
Please show us your device configuration. Are you using AFTD or DD Boost Devices?

Have you checked if the backup gets mounted on the host?

What is "\\h"?

Have you tried to start the restore via cli? Is the backup mounted and can be browsed on the host?
