S2722DZ Webcam enabled when hidded and disabled when opened
I have a problem with S2722DZ Webcam.
It is integrated into monitor and can be hidden/opened by pressing it down into the monitor frame.
Since 2 weeks ago the webcam is detected by Windows 11 as enabled only when it is hidden (lense is hidden).
When I pull the webcam out, it is being disabled.
This is strictly related with the monitor, not with Windows.
Warranty expired of course.
DELL - please help!

The only solution was to exchange a still inside purchased warranty S2722DZ through the Dell "Get Help Now" chat Technical support. Since already outside of the purchased warranty period, there is nothing that Dell can do. Your options are =
* Replace with different monitor
* Disable the integrated webcam and use an external USB webcam

Other thing I can recommend is doing a reset.
Push the camera down.
Switch off the monitor.
Unplug all cables, including the power cable.
Then hold the power button for at least 10 seconds. (I think this is the dell reset).
You could also need if there is a reset in the menus
