P3424WEB, firmware update broke the KVM feature
I have the Dell monitor P3424WEB and I updated the DDM (Dell Display Manager) software and firmware to the new version DDPM (Dell Display and Peripheral Manager). It broke the KVM feature of the monitor. I reconfigured the KVM settings after the update, but the software does NOT recognize the mouse and keyboard. I have to unplug one of the USB-C cables in order for it to switch to my other laptop. I then uninstalled the new DDPM software and installed the previous version of DDM version 2.3.1.16, but the problem still remains and refuses to recognize my mouse and keyboard as well as not switching between laptops.
I think the firmware is what bricked my monitor. Is there a way to revert the firmware back to the previous version?
I never should have never upgraded. The previous version worked just fine.

Unknown if you can force an older version onto the new version. You will simply have to test it.
