P2424HEB, Ethernet port with Windows 11

I have the ethernet cable plugged into the monitor.

I've been using a desktop with win10 without any issues. In settings I could see both the desktop and monitor ethernet port. (only monitor one connected and working)

Now I plug in a Dell 5420 laptop Win11 and I can't see or use the monitor ethernet port. The laptop ethernet port works, but I can't see the monitor one.
