2007FP, Wii, white push

Just chiming in 18 years later to say I'm having the same issue with my Wii connected to my 2007fpb. I'm running a component to VGA transcoder out to the monitor and, of course, 480p. The white push is insane and the best I can do is crank the brightness to 100 and contrast down to 25. Even then, it's too dark for my liking and still looks like I'm driving straight into the sun. When I connect a PC to the DVI input, it looks great. Oh well.
