[Inspiron 7568] Boot from USB Drive Triggers SupportAssist Diagnostic Page

Hi,

I've created a bootable USB Drive which contains Windows 10 installation using Rufus. When I try to boot from the drive, the laptop shows me SupportAssist diagnostic screen and doing some tests. When it shows up, I press ESC to cancel the test, then the laptop turns off. But, when I try to boot to Windows on the internal hard disk, it works fine without any problem.

Please help me identify the problem.

Thanks

I've found the solution.

I have to turn off Secure Boot in the BIOS, because it will refuse to boot from my USB Drive when it's on

ryl313,

Click the link below to Download Windows 10 from the Dell Website for your computer.

Dell Backup Media and Recovery Options

For Inspiron 7568 / 15:

Restart / Turn on your computer.
As soon as you see the Dell logo, tap until the message Preparing to enter Setup appears.
In setup, go to System Configuration -> USB Configuration .
Deselect Enable External USB Port as per your convenience, save the settings and exit.

How to fix a no-boot issue caused by USB emulation?
Sometimes a no-boot situation arises when USB devices are connected to a machine and left connected. This behavior is because the machine starts looking for bootable files in the USB devices.

For Inspiron 7568 / 15:

Restart/Turn on your computer.
As soon as you see the Dell logo, tap until the message Preparing to enter Setup appears.
In setup, go to System Configuration -> USB Configuration.
Select Enable Boot Support, save the settings and exit.
