Dell XPS L502X doesn't start when power button is pressed
I've bought a Dell XPS L502X a week and half ago. It was working fine. But now, it doesn't
start when power button is pressed. When the button is pressed, the button light and keyboard lights are lit
but then the lights are gone and the laptop stops. I used it 2 hrs with AC adapter plugged in. After the laptop was not used
(just leaved it there as AC adapter plugged in and not shutdown) and when not used it usually in sleep mode
(have to press power button to work). So, after almost 5 hrs I tried to use the laptop by pressing power button but didn't work.
After pressing longer the laptop keyboard and power button lights were off (shutdown?). After that it doesn't start.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

The problem was in RAM (sometime runs and sometime not). They have replaced the old one (Hynix 4 GB DDR3 (1333)) with a SAMSUNG 4GB (1333) module. I've used SAMSUNG RAM previously. They are good.

I am sorry that you have to deal with something like this on so new a notebook.
I suggest removing the battery and AC adapter from the notebook. Check the batter meter, should be a small button with a battery icon, press it, one to five LEDs may light up to indicate the level of the battery charge.
Remove the power cable from the AC adapter. Remove the AC adapter from the PC. Reconnect the power cable and plug into a known good power outlet. Does the AC adapter indicate that it has power?
Hold the power button down on the notebook for about three seconds.
With the battery removed, and the AC adapter shows power, connect the AC adapter to the notebook. Does the power indicator on the AC adapter show steady power or did it go out once it was connected to the notebook?
Assuming that the AC adapter shows steady power once connected to the notebook, press the power button on the notebook. What happens?

Actually, AC adapter is OK and the blue light in the cord is lit. I removed battery (battery charge is full, all lights are lit) and tried to start it with AC adapter connected. Same problem. Later, I've removed the RAM and tried to start, now, it runs (power button & keyboard lights are now lit which wasn't when the RAM was attached) and beep for RAM. So, next day (today) my brother took it to the dealer shop. There, the laptop started but few min later it was same like before. They suggested, there may be problem in RAM and to take it to service center. I'll be informed what happened in the end of the day. The RAM was Hynix 4 GB DDR3 (1333).
Thanks.
