Unable to remove GPU from its PCI Express slot because of White Lock
I have a Dell Optiplex 3010 and its motherboard is Dell 042P49.
I put in a PNY GTX 750 2gb and it works great. I now want to take it out and put in the new GTX 1050 TI.
It seems that no matter which way I prod the white lock that holds it in, it will not budge.
I saw a picture in the models pdf that says to pull the lever away from the slot, but the picture is very small and doesnt look like my motherboard. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, on this white latch/clip it should move just by pressing down on it, when you press down you should see it release the card and then you can pull it out. This type of latch/clip is similar to the sticks of ram in your picture but has a kind of spring to it so it can keep its retention (meaning you probably will have to release the clip/latch by pressing down and slowly pull the card up while still holding the clip/latch down.
Before doing this make sure you have opened up the other side of the case that is holding the card in place (either by metal tab/lock release and/or screws as per manual that was linked). It sometimes takes a little force, but make sure you have the latch disengaged! You should practice a few times on pressing it down and you will see it move down and towards the front of the case.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Brad

You press the white tab down towards the motherboard to open the latch. Thanks for posting a picture.

You either press down to open or you press to the side to open. You will not be able to see it while you do that. If you press too hard the latch will break off.

My board and white lever look nothing like the ones in the picture you posted. There is no long tab to pull down to to the side. CPUZ reports my board as the 042AP49.

Edit for model #: It's 042P49 not 042AP49.

Thanks guys. I finally was able to get it unlocked last night. It was the most stubborn one I ever faced so far. Thanks for the assistance. :)
