Is this the right video card upgrade
I have a Dell Optiplex 990 with an AMD Radeon HD 6350 512 megs of on board memory, a member here was kind enough to give me list of compatible video cards that I could upgrade to that would work with my configuration. I found one on ebay that seems like if would work but I can't be certain can you take a look at the picture and tell me if it will work. I can't tell if it's an PCI or a PCIe. it just says PCI. Post back if you need more information. Thank you very much for you time and advice.

ATX Tower, it's running the AMD card on the PCIe slot. If I recall the PCIe slot is black and the PCI slot is white am I correct on that?

Still waiting on that Video Card to arrive from ebay, nothing yet though. I'm tracking it online and it says it should be here today (Saturday 4/15/17) I hope so. Anxious to install it.

Card finally arrived and installed with no problem. An extra 512 megs of video memory and a tad better refresh rate 60 to 75 hz. I'm just trying to keep this old box going a little longer. Thanks to everyone on this community that's help me. I'll probably be back asking for more advice in the future I'm glad I know were to get it. Thanks you Dell for a fine product and happy user.

Man I'm telling ya, the improvement is noticeable. Just a meer 512 megabytes of additional onboard memory and a bump to 75hz really loads the webpages faster. My text is sharper and crisper and my colors are more vibrant. I can only image what the 4 and 8 megabyte cards can be like coupled with a 4K monitor...well, I'd be in viewing heaven that all I can say.

The amount of ram on the video card is not why its improved. Its the difference in the shaders and GDDR2 vs GDDR5.

Thanks SpeedStep not that I understand much of it. Let me ask you about the Texture Units, Z/Stencil ROP Units and Color ROP Units; now those would benefit a gamer right? But say that someone's doing 3D renderings in lets say 3Dmax, Maya or Blender, the Engine Clock, Memory Clock and Memory and Memory Bandwidth would be more beneficial for that right? Would the other features come into play as well in shading and texturing and such?
