Adding old "C" drive to new xps tower
Hi guys, just got my new tower up and running. Would it be possible to install my old c drive into the extra bay and have/reinstall select programs as opposed to restoring the entire drive?

You'll have to install all your apps into the new version of Windows on the new hard drive.
You can install the old hard drive as a secondary drive by connecting it to a SATA port on the motherboard and to the power supply. You won't be able to boot into Windows from the old drive, but you will be able to use it for storage and to access all your existing personal files.
Depending on how much space is free on the old drive, you may want to delete all the Windows and app files from that drive to free up space.

Have fun reinstalling all your apps into Windows on the primary hard drive in the new system. And then enjoy your new toy! :emotion-5:
