Popup error when turning on the number lock

I recently purchased an Alienware AW17R4-7345SLV-PUS laptop. I've only had it for two days. I am getting a persistent pop up EVERY time I turn on the number lock.

The error says that a "thunderbolt dock;" has been connected. I am not using a dock of any kind. I like this computer, but this is really annoying and I am still within my return window if I can't fix it. Can someone please help? Thanks in advance.

I wanted to post a followup, Rodrigo the forum moderator sent me a link to re-download the most recent OSD driver and that completely solved the problem after a restart. So here's the link if anyone else has the same issue.

Alienware OSD Application Driver Details | Dell US

Thank you Rodrigo!

Others have reported similar. Search for fix (I don't recall off-hand).

Let me know if you can't find old threads.

Hi Tesla,

I found one thread, and the only solution given was by the last poster who said he reinstalled "Alienware OSD Application from the Dell support site". Is that the solution? No one posted anything else on the thread. The only OSD driver I can find on the Dell website was last updated in 2011, so I don't think that is the correct one.

Thanks in advance for your help.
