is 180W enough for a GTX 1050?
Hello, Alienware Community! I have this model of Alienware: Amazon.com: Alienware X51 AX51R3-1510BLK Desktop (6th Generaton Intel Core i5, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD) NVIDIA GTX 745: Compu…
However, I will be upgrading soon and the AC Adapter l have is only 180W. So my question is this, will l have enough power for the card, or will l have to upgrade? Thank You!
(Here's The Card): Amazon.com: EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 SC GAMING, 2GB GDDR5, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC) (02G-P4-6152-KR): Computers & Accessorie…
I forgot to mention my Alienware does not have an I5, rather an I3. The I3 is a: i3-6100 CPU @ 3.70Ghz.
So if the processor does anything that affects whether or not l should get a new power brick, please inform me.

Hi nick1229.
i am pretty sure that it works. the EVGA GPU has no additional Power Connectors and the Power Limit for the Card is at 75W. your Processor is a non K Version, so it does not need alot of Power either. you're good to go.

The 330W power supply will ensure that you don't have issues.
