Precision 5520 -install Ubuntu over windows?

 

I am looking at purchasing the Precision 5520.

As Dell no longer accepts btc as payment, I am looking to purchase it from overstock as they accept btc:

 

This laptop can be purchased from Dell with Ubuntu installed.

 

If I purchase it from Overstock however, it will come with Windows (?). Will I be able to install Ubuntu (Kubuntu to be precise) on it?

Are there extra drivers/configurations needed that I can download from Dell - or does the existing Windows install make it impossible to install Ubuntu?
