installing linux on DELL XPS

hi all,

i want to install linux on my NEW DELL XPS machine . right now i got three partitions which i created by shrinking the initial drive Hard drive partition which  we get by default from DELL folks . i want to install a fresh copy of Win 7 os on my lappy by myself  and after that i want to install linux on it . i want to do this because i want to reduce the C drive size and to install linux on it . can anybody tell if my warranty goes of if i install the OS again . is there any thing like that ??

DHRUVSINGH,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

Dell will only support the OS that was installed when it shipped. You can reinstall the OS that was shipped on the system as many times as you like and that will not void your warranty. If you install a Dual boot with Linux Dell will not support that configuration.
