Latitude E7470, fan goes to full speed and then it shuts down

Update the system bios to see if that will resolve the issue.

Monitor your cpu temp. The fan might be getting stuck too. If it is, gotta go get it serviced or if you wanna be cheap, get those air blowing cans. Duster cans.

I dont know why the link to a duster can on Amazon is so long. Im sure it's cause they got a million items on sale on Amazon. One day I swear it's going to be one marketplace and it's going to be impossible to find anything. And the ability to find something is gonna be gold. Let me if it works. It's my guess cause of the high speed fan and then the shut off. Usually when something goes hot, the computer will shut itself down and the fan at high speed makes me think at low speed something is stuck and at a high speed it finally starts turning but by the time it starts turning, it's already too late.
