Latitude 7450 camera stopped working after some update
The same issue is happening to a few of our 7450s after an update. It seems like it can affect multiple models. Dell support told me they knew of the issue and are working with Microsoft, but that they only told them to install drivers in a certain order that didn't work for me at all.

Hi Chris,
Sorry, this post was automatically created after a comment on another which is why there were no details.
This is a result of a Windows update that seems to break the camera on some machines. The error received is a00f4244 nocamerasareattached. Seems to be the same issue referenced in this post (as well as various others):
https://www.reddit.com/r/Dell/comments/1ff3d2l/multiple_dells_loosing_access_to_integrated_web/
The webcam driver has been reinstalled as well as installing the five or so drivers in the order that they specified. I don't have the exact list and order because I can't access my chat transcript, but I believe it was:
Intel 2D Imaging/MCU/Visual Sensing Controller Driver
Intel Integrated Sensor Solution driver
Intel serial IO driver
After troubleshooting with Dell after my own troubleshooting, they dispatched a tech to replace the screen. I was hoping to find a better solution in case I see it again in the meantime but I'm not very hopeful. These machines are on Windows 10 22H2.

@cinemahdapk
This was all tried with Engineers on my team as well as with Dell support. None of this resolved our issue unfortunately.

I suggest using the device manager, uninstall the camera and reboot

That was one of the first things we tried as well as that suggestion already being offered by someone else. I replied to that post that I had tried that too.

Same issue with me. I bought Dell 7450 last month and my camera is not working.
My office with mandates us to have our cameras working in BYOD devices but unfortunately the brand new Dell 7450 camera is not working. Can anyone please help me out in getting this sorted? Thanks!

We have 20+ 7450's with this issue.
Re-installing drivers doesn't solve anything.
Conctaced Dell Support and they claim it's a known issue that will be resolved with a driver / BIOS update "soon".
However, they didn't want to put this in writing. Our Dell rep leaves us in the dark as well.

I'm having the same issue. This started after the 24h2 update before the reboot I believe. Not 100% sure though. So far nothing that I have tried worked.

Installing the latest Intel-2D-Imaging-MCU-Visual-Sensing-Controller-Driver from the Dell support website worked for me. There was a new driver released a few days ago for the 7450. Let the install run, it takes about 5 minutes and gives you no feed back, but it worked for both 7440 and 7450.
I added the drivers to MDT but that didnt work annoyingly

@Hixel Only install 1.Intel 2D Imaging/MCU/Visual Sensing Controller Driver A04 or A03But it's not better solution. Because when you reinstall the windows 10 or 11 or Windows update. it will happen again, You must reinstall the intel 2D driver by yourself. I hope Dell can fix this problem ASAP.

1) Open Device Manager
2) View --> Drivers by device & Show hidden devices
3) Delete all .inf files one by one from the Intel(R) AVStream Camera, do NOT uninstall the "main driver" first -> You also need to wait here, it can be that 1 or 2 .inf files appear after removing others. Remove those ones as well, until all are gone
4) go to Universal Serial Bus devices & remove the USBIO driver from there
5) Reinstall the latest driver from https://dl.dell.com/FOLDER12467292M/1/Intel-2D-Imaging-MCU-Visual-Sensing-Controller-Driver_TKVTD_WIN64_73.22000.5.12_A04.EXE
6) Restart the device

@D0M1
Will you explain how to find the inf files? Is it through device manager? I am having trouble finding them once I get to device manager and finding the camera.
