I cannot see my cellular option in my dell latitude
my dell latitude 7290 has a sim card slot but in my settings there is no option of cellular connection what should i do now

The system needs a WWAN card in order to make a cellular connection. Before you buy one, verify that the antenna leads for the WWAN card are present in the system -- in most cases they won't be, meaning you'll need a new back cover or complete display assembly with the antennas.
The other option is a USB WWAN adapter.

@ejn63 my laptop model is -dell latitude 7290
and it is i5 8th gen in bios it shows the cellular option

That option will be there whether or not there is a WWAN card. Go into the device manager and see if there is (I don't think you'll find one based on the screen capture you posted).
