VSFTPD wont start with ssl_enable
Tried to enable FTPS as per page 29 in the security guide for 9.2(cant post it here as the forum complans its "invalid HTML" although its XML).
But as soon as I did that the vsftpd service stops.
isilon03-2# isi_for_array -s ps auwwx |grep -i ftp
isilon03-2: root 71409 0.0 0.0 11364 2832 0 S+ 17:52 0:00.01 grep -i ftp
isilon03-2#
The vsftpd.log doesnt show any errormsgs or anything useful with regards to this.
Is this a bug or am I missing something?
If I change the value back to "NO" it starts up fine again.

Hi,
Thanks for your question. I didn’t find anything that says there is a bug. Did you create the keys for it? https://dell.to/3ChAmjO

Thanks alot! That was what was necessary.
I wonder why the Security guide doesnt mention anything about one having to generate certs though?
Also, how do I make vsftpd.conf settings such as "force_local_data_ssl=NO" persistent across upgrades?

I don’t see a way to force the files to have persistence.
