Rubber feel going astray

Rubber feet are falling off the base. Is there a reliable way to reattach them or do I give up now and toss them away on the basis replacement feet will follow within months?

Commercially available rubber adhesives should be a reliable repair.  Just ensure the attaching surfaces are well cleaned when applying the rubber cement.  Some gel superglue will also work well with rubber and painted surfaces.

  • Gel super glue bought inexpensively from a certain well known office supplies outlet.
  • Both rubber and groove cleaned thoroughly with alcohol.
  • All around the grooves masked carefully.
  • Scissors took care of the longer rubber's slight stretch.
  • Dabs of glue squeezed in the groove then spread carefully with the applicator tip.
  • Rubber pressed in place.
  • Laptop left to set for an hour or so before removing masking tape.
