Dell Inspiron 5567 's Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz   2.90 GHz is full capable of running Windows 11 but is not listed in Microsoft Windows 11 supported processor list. Neither the windows update is pushing, and it says is not capable of running windows 11.

But, All the requirements are fully meet:

  1. TPM 2.0
  2. UEFI BIOS
  3. Processor (Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz   2.90 GHz)
  4. Processor Instruction Set Extensions Intel® SSE4.1, Intel® SSE4.2, Intel® AVX2
  5. Supports Secure Boot
  6. RAM 8 GB
  7. SSD 256 GB

Request to test Dell Inspiron 5567 should be tested for upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11

Please add support for Dell Inspiron 5567 's Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90 GHz in the Windows 11 Official processor list and provide us windows 11 update for this device?

The 5570 was shipped with 8th generation CPUs are does meet the MS requirements.  The 5567 model was shipped with 7th generation CPUs and despite  your insistence, does not.

It is possible to install Windows 11 on unsupported systems, but that may also be coming to an end, as Microsoft has strongly hinted that near term Windows 11 updates will be locked out on unsupported systems.

The CPU in that system is not certified for Windows 11.

The Inspiron 5567 will not receive Windows 11 support from Dell.

Dell Inspiron Laptops tested for update to Windows 11. If your computer model is not listed, Dell will not test the device, and drivers will not be updated for that model.

@DELL-Chris M then why is Dell Inspiron 5570 with 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7500U Processor is being tested for windows 11 by Dell but not dell Inspiron 5567. Again, Microsoft requirement is fully met as mentioned above and being tested by many people in Dell Inspiron 5567. It's running smoothly and flawlessly. Microsoft just want to ditch old processors for AI and it's a huge E-Waste. Microsoft will end support for windows 10 next year. Windows 10 will be highly vulnerable after that. Dell and Microsoft have to re-think and make it compatible for windows 11 otherwise we'll have to shift towards the Mac OS or Google OS or Linux OS. We have no other options left as a consumer perspective.

Hope Dell and Microsoft will re-think about it.

Ever make progress on updating the 5567? I have the same one, AND the 5570 but neither will update.
