Inspiron warranty issue
Dear Dell Customer Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the warranty start date on my recently purchased Dell Inspiron, which I bought on September 8, 2023. To my surprise and disappointment, I discovered that the warranty for my device began on November 25, 2022, nearly 1 year before my actual purchase date. This discrepancy has left me concerned about the warranty coverage for my device, as it does not accurately reflect my purchase date. I kindly request that you investigate this matter promptly and adjust the warranty start date to align with my actual purchase date of September 8, 2023. It is crucial to me as a customer that my device's warranty reflects the correct timeframe to ensure proper coverage for any potential issues that may arise. I appreciate your prompt attention to this issue and look forward to a swift resolution. Please contact me to provide an update on the status of this request or to request any further information you may require. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter and for your continued commitment to customer satisfaction.
Sincerely,
ejn63

Contact your seller for assistance -- Dell usually will allow about 90 days from shipment and adjust the warranty, but for a system that's sat in a warehouse for the better part of a year before purchase they likely won't allow a full warranty.

@ejn63 that's a bummer! but how would a customer know before making a purchase about a system that's been lying in the warehouse for 90+ days or 10 months in this case?
