Inspiron 7415 won’t charge

Plugging in charger: laptop will not charge. I’ve tried two appropriate chargers.

Assuming the charger is not recognized (and that both adapters are OEM, not third party -- F2 at powerup to check whether or not they are), replace the DC jack:

@ejn63 but 7415 2 in 1 charges using a usb c port. There is no DC jack. I'm confused.

That cable terminates in USB-C jack.

@ejn63 Thanks for the clarification. But my usb c charging port is directly soldered to the motherboard. I have the same issue and I guess maybe it's the usb-c pd chip that's dead. Any idea how much it'll cost to repair?

Check EBay -- the mainboards for that model are available for $60-75. At that price, repair (even if possible) will be more expensive than replacing the board.
