Inspiron 5580, macOS Sequoia 15, Wifi driver?
Hello Dell Team Members,
I recently installed macOS Sequoia 15 Version on my Inspiron 5580 <The Inspiron 5580 was never tested/validated by Dell with Apple OS. DELL-Admin> and I would like to tell you that the system is working very well and smoothly. All drivers are working fine except the system wifi but I am using wifi through an external wifi dongle. I just need the kext file for wifi on my Inspiron 15 5580 system. Can anyone please help me.

Summary points:
Dell provides Intel Wi-Fi drivers for Windows only, no official macOS Sequoia driver available.
Community open-source drivers (OpenIntelWireless) support Intel AX210/AX211 Wi-Fi cards on recent macOS versions including Sequoia, allowing use without disabling macOS security features.
These drivers and methods are mostly relevant for Hackintosh systems or custom macOS installs on Dell hardware since Apple hardware typically uses Broadcom Wi-Fi chips.
Other Intel Wi-Fi models in the list (9560, 9462, 9260, 8265, 8260, 7265, 3165) have very limited or no macOS support and often require Broadcom replacement or external adapters for native Wi-Fi on macOS.
If you want to use Intel Wi-Fi on macOS Sequoia on your Dell Inspiron 5580, the Intel AX210/AX211 card with OpenIntelWireless drivers is currently the most promising solution, but it requires careful setup and might not fully match native macOS experience. For other Intel models listed, there is no straightforward macOS Sequoia UWD driver.

The Inspiron 5580 was never tested/validated by Dell with Apple OS. You should check on the Apple Forum for assistance.
