tysondzines,
Click here to view the storage specs for your system. You can purchase any brand you choose as long as it meets the specs for the system.

The Dell Inspiron 15 7569 2-in-1 laptop typically supports 2.5-inch SATA III solid-state drives (SSDs). These SSDs use the SATA III interface, which provides decent speed improvements over traditional hard drives.
When upgrading or replacing the SSD in your Dell Inspiron 15 7569, make sure to consider the following specifications:
2.5-inch Form Factor: The laptop is designed to accommodate 2.5-inch SSDs, so ensure that the SSD you choose has this form factor.
SATA III Interface: Ensure that the SSD uses the SATA III interface for compatibility. While more recent laptops and motherboards support NVMe SSDs, the Inspiron 15 7569 is more likely to have a SATA III interface.
Storage Capacity: Choose the storage capacity that suits your needs. SSDs are available in a wide range of sizes, from 120GB for basic usage to 1TB or more for greater storage capacity.
Brand and Model: You have the flexibility to choose from various SSD brands and models. Popular SSD manufacturers include Samsung, Crucial, Western Digital, Kingston, and SanDisk, among others. Be sure to select a reliable and well-reviewed SSD for optimal performance and reliability.
Installation: When upgrading your laptop's SSD, you will need to open the laptop's case, which may void the warranty if it's still under warranty. Ensure you are comfortable with the installation process or consider seeking professional assistance.
Before purchasing a new SSD, you may also want to check the laptop's user manual or contact Dell's customer support for any specific compatibility recommendations or restrictions. Additionally, consider backing up your data before performing any hardware upgrades or replacements.

If it has a hard drive now, you can either replace the drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD or add an M.2 SSD, but note that the SSD MUST be SATA -- the system does not support the newer/faster NVMe format.

Hello, I have a 7569 and am trying to add an M2 SSD SATA III 2TB drive. The drive is recognized via USB-C and functional in a Dell XPS 15 9510, but the 7569 only sees the drive as nor initialized, and diskpart gives an 'Incorrect Function" error if I choose Initialize Disk.
