Inspiron 15 3511 Boot Issue
Hello Everyone,
Im Inspiron 15 3511 user for 03 years. From last two month a very different issue has occurred to my device. My laptop is ON and is in Use everything working fine, as i restart due to some reason or shutdown to return back later, my system didn't restored to normal power ON as before. Sometime this happened after 03 or 04 days or sometime with 5-6 multiple restart attempts that i made to check id still the issue is there. 'When it ididnt powerON to normal, then i have to open the back casing to disconnect the battery then again connect the battery or direct power adapter without battery, and laptop is power ON to normal. But this last for again 03 to 04 days or 5-6 restarts as mentioned above, This is frequent and unable to fix it yet even after attempting all available updates of any kind.
I hope by understanding my issue, there must be some one who can help me to fix the issue.

Hi
I do not think you have a separate CMOS coin cell battery, it's function is covered by the MAIN battery.
If the MAIN battery is failing then this can affect the BIOS settings. So do a diagnostic on the main battery, and be prepared to replace it.
The PSU seems to be functioning, so next run a FULL hardware diagnostic to check the storage device.
If in doubt please ask.

Thanks for your response.
I have checked it with some local repair shop, they used another compatible battery of some other laptop, it worked fine with it without any blackout or power issue but as he used original battery of this laptop issue was again there, even by using another battery of same model but different laptop issue was still there.
Now i got the machine back, and make a full system scan using dell support assistant it shows everything normal and healthy but made some updates including BIOS. Its been around 18hrs and machine is working normal so-far. I tested it with multiple restarts and shutdown but so far its normal.
I hope it will remain so. Let me check it and update you back if any issue reoccurred or remained normal.
